Our 100% Acrylic Stain is formulated to provide a matte finish, which is often the preferred look for applications such as window and door trim. Available in a wide range of colors, this stain is manufactured with quality ingredients and state-of-the-art technology to provide a long-lasting, freshly stained look. The matte finish is not recommended for horizontal surfaces.
Applications
Ideal for shakes, shingles, clapboards, siding, barnboards, fences, lawn furniture, and exterior woods. Not recommended for decks and other horizontal surfaces, use Storm Category 4 Acrylic Stain W/ Enduradeck.
New or unfinished wood to be stained with this product should be primed with Storm Category 5 Oil Quick Dry Primer to avoid natural tannin or sugar bleed-through from the new wood.
Coverage
300-400 square feet per gallon on smooth wood
100-200 square feet per gallon on textured wood
Minimum Temperature
Air and surface temperatures should be above 35F during application, drying time, and minimum of 48 hours after application.
Dry Time
At 35-45F 50% RH, 1 hour dry to touch, 4 hours to handle, and 4 hours to recoat. Darker colors and higher humidity will slow down dry time.

Custom colors may require a 1-2 business day lead time to make. White is California Paint's #01 SuperHide White and is tinted in this product.
